Anger Management and the Mind: From Rage to Resilience

This is a 8-week group that is designed to understand, assess and process anger and the effects that anger can have on one’s mind, body and behavior.

Starting August 25, 2025 (Monday)

Group will meet on Mondays from 10:00am to 11:30am for 8 weeks

8-Week Anger Management Program

  • Week 1: Introduction, What is Anger, Getting to Know Your Anger, Define Resilience

  • Week 2: Events and Cues, Monitoring Anger

  • Week 3: Anger Control Plans & Relaxation Techniques

  • Week 4: The Aggression Cycle

  • Week 5: Cognitive Restructuring

  • Week 6: Assertiveness and Conflict Resolution

  • Week 7: Anger and the Family

  • Week 8: Review, Closing, and Recommendations
